The police e-fit of the man who tried to abduct a 15-year-old girl

Police have today released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to about an attempted abduction in Pudsey.

A 15-year-old girl was walking along Carlisle Road at 9.15pm on Thursday, May 22, when the driver of a silver Mercedes grabbed her and pulled her towards the car.

The man let go when he saw some pedestrians in the street.

The suspect is described as possibly Asian, in his 30s, around 5ft 9 to 5ft 10 and of slightly chubby build with dark, shaven hair and stubble.

He was wearing a dark zip-up top with a light-coloured shirt underneath and dark jeans with plain dark shoes.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact PC James Sayers on 0845 6060606.
