Woman, 88, hurt in collision
Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman pedestrian was involved in an accident with a car.
The 88-year-old woman was seriously injured in the incident which involved a silver Volkswagen Golf in Bradford Road, Bingley, near the junction with Ferncliffe Road. The woman, who has not been named by police, is being treated at Airedale General Hospital.
Witnesses to the accident which occurred at 12.30pm on Saturday should contact PC John Cummins at Airedale and North Bradford Roads Policing Unit at 0845 6060606.
